Between Whitsunday (May Day bank holiday) and October, visitors can experience the enchanting Llwyngwril yarn bombing project. Originating in 2015, villagers began knitting and crocheting animals, figures, and the legendary Gwril giant to embellish the village.
The project's initial aim was to promote community unity and raise funds for Y Canolfan (Llwyngwril Community Centre). Since then, it has evolved into an annual event, turning the village into a captivating treasure hunt filled with delightful and surprising discoveries.
To make sure you don't miss any of the fantastic yarned creations, pick up a map available at Riverside Stores.
